Dear Athena Sisters,

Spring is in full bloom and so is the incredible energy of our sisterhood! It has been so much fun celebrating so many of our amazing sisters this month. Congratulations again to all who were recognized and honored.

I am absolutely thrilled about our upcoming event to honor this year’s Young Women of Promise honorees. These ten remarkable young women inspire us with their drive, resilience, and bright futures—and this year’s celebration will be even more special as we welcome back some of our past honorees. It’s shaping up to be an unforgettable and uplifting evening—you won’t want to miss it!

We also have another exciting event on the horizon—Wit, Wisdom & Women 2025 on April 30^th is officially live and promises to be an empowering experience filled with connection, insight, and plenty of inspiration. Be sure to check it out, share it with others and get your ticket early! This is a great event to invite community partners and prospective members to attend. Huge thank you to the committee for keeping this going…I am excited this is becoming a Athena tradition.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to our Career Assistance Grants fundraiser. Thanks to your generosity, we surpassed our goal and raised $2,650! That’s truly fantastic! Even better, we were able to award TWO grant cycles this year—what a testament to the power of our collective support. There’s still time to give, and every additional dollar will go toward next year’s recipients. Let’s keep the momentum going!

And speaking of things to look forward to—save the date for our July retreat! The year’s event will be July 18-20 at the Art Ovation Hotel in Sarasota. It’s always such a meaningful time to connect, reflect, and reenergize together, and I can’t wait to see what is in store for all of us with the talent at the helm of our retreat committee.
