Since 1981 Athena has identified young women of promise across Hillsborough County. This year, ten very special young women, each outstanding in her own way were recognized at our April luncheon.

Our members are an active, accomplished, and community-minded group of leaders from a cross-section of businesses, professions, academic institutions, civic and philanthropic organizations and governmental bodies.
Our Mission
The Athena Society is dedicated to creating a forum for interaction and collaboration and to improving the status of women through equality, broader acceptance of women in business, the professions, and other positions of responsibility, and expanded educational and career development opportunities.
