On Friday, May 31, the Four Seasons Author Series will present Dr. Kathleen Heide, whose new book is Understanding Parricide: When Sonsand Daughters Kill Parents.  Published by Oxford University Press, it came out almost simultaneously with the Newtown CT tragedy which killed 27. The killer was a 20-year-old who shot his mother before going to Sandy Hook Elementary where the rampage occurred….

Jean Amuso has been elected president of Chiselers, Inc. a group of approximately 150 dedicated to the historic preservation of the 1891 Tampa Bay Hotel. The building, also known as H. B. Plant Hall, is a part of the University of Tampa designated as a national historic landmark.
