Don’t miss October 5th! This party happens only once every ten years! Your attendance will help make Athena’s 40th Anniversary a celebration to remember. The committee has arranged a variety of pleasures – live music, a scrumptious dinner and most importantly time with friends.
The band Phase5, by the way, is so good that they played with Paul McCartney recently. There will be party favors in the form of photographs to take home and custom made chocolates. The beautiful Athena scarves introduced at the Captiva retreat will be available for purchase: $35. The University of Tampa, the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College have all contributed to sponsorship of our anniversary celebration.
The Tampa Yacht & County Club has designed four food stations and there will be a variety of seating – bistro tables, dinner tables with chairs and comfy sofas. It is our hope that you will move throughout the rooms, eating, drinking, dancing, mixing and mingling.
There will be a warm welcome by President Doretha Edgecomb, followed by the premier of our 40th Anniversary video – starring over 70 Athena members. Fryed Egg Productions has done a superb job. If you have not already done so, please send your RSVP to Eleanor ASAP.
Each Athena member is invited to bring one guest. The celebration begins at 6:30 pm and valet parking will be provided. Attire? FESTIVE!
