We are delighted to announce the revised and updated first softback edition of Real Women of Tampa & Hillsborough County by Doris Weatherford will be unveiled at the June meeting. Pam Iorio has written a Foreword with an Afterword by historian Canter Brown, Jr., reflecting on the decade since the book was first printed which covers the years 2004-2014. The Athena Society extends its gratitude to the Henry B. Plant Museum and The University of Tampa Press for their gracious efforts which have resulted in the printing of this book. We also want to recognize the generous financial support from The Saunders Foundation and The Frank E. Duckwall Foundation, Inc.
