Sylvia Campbell will be inducted into the prestigious Hillsborough County Women’s Hall of Fame on March 22 at the Tampa Convention Center. The first female surgeon in the county, Sylvia is a graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine and has been practicing for 41 years. She’s highly respected (and loved) for her annual humanitarian trips to Haiti where she performs surgeries for those who have lacked access to medical care.
