The 3rd annual Metropolitan Safari to celebrate and support the female Rwandan leaders and entrepreneurs of the Akilah Institute for Women will be held on Friday, September 28th, 2012 at the The Tampa Yacht Club. Tickets are available in for purchase at www.metropolitansafari.org.

The Akilah Institute for Women (www.AkilahInstitute.org) is a college for young women in Kigali, Rwanda. Akilah transforms the lives of young women by empowering them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to find meaningful employment and launch their own ventures. Akilah will celebrate our first graduation in August 2012 with 100% employment and graduates increasing their income 10 fold. Two Akilah students are making the journey from Rwanda to the United States for the first time to meet supporters and share their experiences from Akilah.
